Meet
TIM "DJ SQUARE KNOT" WILSON
A Brooklyn Original. A Navy Veteran. A Lifelong Ambassador of Music and Hip Hop Culture.
It all started at age 12, when a young Brooklyn kid got his first opportunity to step behind the Wheels of Steel and cue up “Impeach the President” by The Honey Drippers.
From that moment, music became his first love.
Before becoming DJ Square Knot, he was “The Almighty Power Lord – Mighty Mix Master Tee,” a DJ, MC, and Human Beat Box with Brooklyn’s High Power Phase I Crew.
More than four decades later, that same passion continues to fuel his work as a professional entertainer, radio personality, podcaster, and founder of Square Knot Kids, Inc., where he has introduced hundreds of children to the Art of DJ’ing.
From Brooklyn block parties to Navy deployments, North Carolina dance floors, radio airwaves, and youth DJ camps, his story is one of music, resilience, service, and purpose.
He’s not just playing music. He’s sharing a lifetime of it.
